If you are going to have a record with a black and pink cover and call yourselves The Exploding Fuck Dolls, you damn well better be punk enough to back it up. These guys have more than enough credentials to warrant such acts. This is a new record, but not new material. This is not get a mohawk and some tats Blink 182 "punk" - this record and the extensive liner notes are the story covering the 13 year history of one of the great old school OC punk bands. Formed by former pro skateboarers and tattoo artists the Godoy brothers, they follow the tradition of such influential bands as The Sex Pistols and The Ramones in terms of style, quality and overall musical talent. Through multiple lineup changes, drug problems, strippers, the overdose of a member early on, finding new singers walking down the street at 2AM and never producing a full studio album, only a few 7" singles, The Exploding Fuck Dolls remained extremely dedicated to their goals as artists and garnered a loyal following and are now finally able to bring their sound to a whole new audience. Highlights such as the earlier-era American Bomb and the later Satellite come off in a well-crafted way suitable to be the anthem for a new generation of kids who choose not to fall in line.

The CD is enhanced with a couple of videos that add to the experience in a way that only a grainy black and white punk rock video complete with fire, the crew tearing up the streets on a bike or in an old cadillac, walking along the tracks, getting hassled by cops, messing with a passed out drunk on the curb mixed with live show footage can.
